  They asked for my ID to buy cigarettes. I am 50 years old and don't look a day under that. WV law states that a customer only needs to prove they are over 18 to buy cigarettes. It does not give the retailer the right to retain any of your information. The cashier insisted that she had to scan my ID. I refused to allow my personal information to be collected, so she refused to sell me the cigarettes. I asked for the corporate number and they refused to give it to me.
